POLO IN ARGENTINA

The ‘Leap’ is an organisation that specialises is organising travel opportunities, across the world, for Gap year students. One such opportunity is Polo in Argentina, where they have teamed up with Marcus Llambias, a seasoned Polo player with his own horses and polo fields (and numerous other facilities) at the El Retiro Polo Ranch.

In conjunction with The ‘Leap’ and Marcus, APOLOA has negotiated a deal for all members to stay with Marcus and play every day for £200 per week, excl travel, insurance and spending money (click for Argentina tour report and pictures -the team stayed with Marcus).

Dates are between January 15 and March 15 2007, however there may be flexibility at other times. Grants from APOLOA and CSPA are available.

All individuals should contact APOLOA if they are interested, further details will then be provided on how to proceed regarding dates and so forth.

There are opportunities for those from regiments who are keen to go as a group (max four). In this instance once initial contact has been made with APOLOA groups can make all their arrangements direct through The ‘Leap’, as it will provide greater flexibility regarding dates and the length of your stay, however prices are considerably higher.
