RMAS Polo Club Activity Forecast The July activity forecast is below. We have received some useful comment on the June version and have made some changes to activities as a result. Friday evenings have now been put back to 1830hrs, and we have inserted a Sunday morning stick and ball session as a warm up for those playing chukkas either at RMAS or clubs further afield. We will also send out availability reminders by email as and when required. Fixtures The RMAS Heritage Day took place on 18 June in glorious sunshine. The RMAS OCdt team defeated Nottingham University 4 to 3 _. The polo match, in front of a large crowd, was the highlight of the day and people were impressed with the quality of the play. The polo match was followed by a exhibition polocrosse match where Australia beat UK 11 to 8. Thanks go to Dodson & Horrell, Roxtons and La Chamiza for providing prizes and stands on the day and our sponsor Keith Dickenson and FDR Promotions. The next fixture will be RMAS v Cavalry Club on 7 July at the Round Ground. Captains and Subalterns The Captains and Subalterns tournament will take place at Tidworth Polo Club 21-21 July. We intend to enter both an OCdt and Affiliate team. Eligible members who wish to play should inform the polo manager as soon as possible. Polo Ball The RMAS Polo Club Ball will take place on Friday 13 July. Tickets are priced at £30 and available from the Polo Officer or the Ticketmaster Ben Marshall. Horses Roxanna and Nochera both playing well. Other good news: Rusty is pregnant, fingers crossed for a healthy foal in May 08. Match Shirts The new match shirts have sold out. We plan on ordering another batch so if you still wish to purchase one please let the polo manager know your size and preferred number.
