ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF CSPA

THERE was a good turn-out at the annual general meeting of the CSPA at the Cavalry & Guards Club in London on Thursday February 15.

The Chairman reported that the CSPA is in good health and that 2007 is a special year – celebrating the 100th anniversary of Tidworth.

The Committee for the year is as follows: Chairman - Captain RW Mason; Vice Chairman – Brigadier A Bradshaw; Director - MJA Cann; Auditor – Simon Day & Co; Honorary Secretary - Captain N Cowley; Honorary Administration Secretary – Captain M Fincham; CSPA Captain – Lt Col N Hunter.

The accounts, which showed a profit of £16,000 for 2006, were unanimously approved. Brig Wright reminded everyone that it was only seven years ago that CSPA was worth £8,000 and in dire straights. He proposed special thanks to Mark Cann for his efforts both in raising money/sponsorship and running the CSPA.

The Committee approved grants for 2007 totalling £38,200. For details of these awards and a full copy of the minutes of the agm please contact Director Mark Cann.
